Topographic Survey of a Building

A team fieldwork project surveying a large building within the University of West Attica campus.

**Instruments & methodology**

We used a total station to record horizontal and vertical angles and distances, establishing control points around the building. A level was used for precise height differences and elevation control.

**Deliverables**

Field measurements were processed and turned into a topographic plan of the building and its surroundings, drawn in AutoCAD.

**What I learned**

Setting up and orienting instruments in the field, systematic recording of measurements, error checking and closing traverses, and translating raw field data into accurate drawings.
